Blunder di Final Liga Champions, Karius Terpukul dan Minta Maaf



Penjaga gawang Liverpool, Loris Karius, menjadi pemain paling disorot saat laga final Liga Champions kontra Real Madrid, Sabtu (26/5/2018).

 Karius membuat dua kesalahan fatal yang membuat Liverpool harus kalah dengan skor 1-3. Seusai laga, Karius mengakui ia membuat kesalahan besar dan meminta maaf kepada seluruh elemen klub.

 "Saya meminta maaf kepada semuanya, kepada tim, kepada semua orang di klub, kesalahan itu sangat fatal," tutur Karius seperti dilansir BolaSport.com dari Liverpool Echo. "Jika saya dapat memutar waktu kembali, saya akan melakukannya. Saya tahu saya mengecewakan tim ini," kata kiper asal Jerman tersebut

Kesalahan pertama Karius terjadi pada menit ke-51 saat umpan lemparannya dipotong Karim Benzema. Kemudian, blunder kedua Karius terjadi pada menit ke-83 atau gol ketiga Real Madrid. Karius gagal menangkap dengan sempurna tendangan keras Gareth Bale dari luar kotak penalti. Meski mendapat banyak dukungan dari seluruh rekannya, Karius mengaku masih sangat terpukul dengan apa yang telah dilakukannya.

"Tentu saja rekan-rekan di ruang ganti mencoba menyemangati saya. Namun, yang ada hanya kesunyian di mana-mana karena semuanya sangat kecewa. Saya tak bisa merasakan apa-apa sekarang," kata Karius soal keadaan ruang ganti Liverpool seusai laga.
